Publication of ‘IoS-OP – Examples of fair and impartial data sharing and data utilization’
IoS-OP Consortium, operated by Ship Data Center Co., Ltd. (ShipDC), almost five years after our launch in May 2018, has achieved world-leading results, including the establishment of rules for data handling. To this end, we have published a booklet ‘IoS-OP – Examples of fair and impartial data sharing and data utilization’, which compiles past initiatives and introductions of participating members.
The booklet introduces the IoS-OP mechanism, examples of its use and the activities of participating members, categorised into five topics (Environmental Regulations and Operational Efficiency, Data Handling Rules, High-speed Marine Communication Network, Standardization Initiatives, Technology).
